Medina Police Training Scenarios
During the week of February 29 - March 5, 2016, we were honored to assist the Medina Police and Specials in a training excercise held at the old Fair Board office. Here are some photos and videos of the excercise.

2013 Active Shooter Excercise
at Medina High School
A great big thanks to the following volunteers:
We got to play victims in a High School massacre scenario under the supervision of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It involved all Medina County departments and most officers participated. It was a most fascinating event for our membership. We learned much about tactics that are employed by our officers. Truly a great learning experience.
Some of us played students who had been shot, killed or scared to death, and were observers. Others got to be made up to look like they had been mortally wounded. Some were even used in a hostage situation. I have participated in a few excercises and this was the best. We hope the participating officers thought so too!
Some of us took a few rounds, but that is to expected in a learning environment like this. I hope this training was useful to our officers. I hope we get some feedback on the excercise and that our group can provide ours. I believe this event should be repeated on a regular basis.
Again, thanks to all that participated!
